I have been asked by Kelkoo about trying to integrate their api into my html/prices.php comparison table as they have been impressed with the traffic they got from the searchresults.php I already populate this table with feeds this way, eg amazon marketplace, amazon uk and ebay However I am wondering 1. is it possible to populate the table with matching ean number products from All matching merchants on the Kelkoo API using a Kelkooproduct.php file? 2. Filter out already existing merchants within the comparison table from other api's: Merchant name - Kelkoo Merchant ID Amazon Marketplace - 4896423 Amazon UK - 4682123 also i have been send a list of over 250 merchants and IDs, these include some merchants that i have direct partnerships with already (2 examples below), for these merchants I would not want Kelkoo links to populate the table, but rather my own feeds, is this possible? eg Merchant name - Kelkoo Merchant ID Appliances Online - 7662923 Argos - 13924413 I have attached the Kelkoo.php file and also my products.php file. just in the event that this may be possible as I honestly would not have a clue where to start I hope this makes sense, if not please ask Thanks 2 Attachments support 26/11/2015 to me HI Phil, I'm afraid I don't have any availability for custom development work at this time. David. Philip Stone 26/11/2015 to support No problem David Thanks Phil support 27/11/2015 to me Hi again Phil, I dont want to leave you in the lurch with this i'll try and help you later on today I haven't got too much going on atm, hope Black Friday going well from your site so far...! Cheers David support 27/11/2015 to me Hi Phill, please could you resend products.php and kelkoo.php... Thanks, David Phil Stone Attachments30/11/2015 to support Sorry David, just seeing this now I have attached the two files, i'm honestly in no rush for this! so in your own time I would greatly appreciate you looking at this!! Black Friday was good this year, its been a very good year this year, the domain checkwebprices just works so much better than buy24-7, so i abandoned it and have put all efforts into this project, just looking forward to seeing everything indexed https in the early part of the new year, I've started to see higher keyword results already with the change (only 2 weeks in) and also this is the first time bing and yahoo have started indexing the site, so quietly excited for 2016 Thanks so much for all your help going back to 2006!! crazy how time has flown! Please have a go with attached; products.php kelkooproduct.php A bit of "coding blind" so may need a little debugging once online but what I've done is basically blended amazonproduct.php and kelkoo.php into the new module kelkooproduct.php. It differs slightly in that kelkooproduct.php may return multiple $kelkooRecords (for each merchant offer) whereas there is only one amazonRecord / ebayRecord for example. kelkooproduct.php scans $rows for an "ean" value to use as the "query" parameter. An additional "ean=" parameter is also set as supported by the V3 API. With regards to filtering merchants already included in the price comparison from your feeds / other APIs, I have included a translation table in which you can enter any differences between Kelkoo merchant names and the names on your site - see lines 10-13 for starters where you can edit / add to the array as required. For example, if you use "Argos" on your site but Kelkoo use "Argos Direct", then you would add an entry as follows; $kelkooMerchants["Argos Direct"] = "Argos"; Otherwise, merchant names are tested as-is (lines 29-33). The $kelkooRecord, constructed at lines 37-58 i've based on $amazonRecord, initialised everything to "" and then re-populated with the known Kelkoo fields from kelkoo.php - there may be further values in the Kelkoo API response that can be populated - checking the response with debug enabled would reveal the full XML response so that additional fields can be added. Hope this helps! All the best, David 2 Attachments Philip Stone 08/12/2015 to support Hi David Thanks for this, at first I could not get it to work, then i realised line 116 needed a slight change $path = "/V3/productSearch?query= to $path = "/V3/productSearch?ean= now it works perfect, tried out the exclude merchant text and it works perfect to! I will run this for a few days and let you know if there are any issues bug after a quick test and trial everything looks great!! Thanks for taking the time to do this Regards Phil Click here to Reply or Forward 3.22 GB (21%) of 15 GB used Manage Terms - Privacy Last account activity: 7 minutes ago Details kelkooproduct.php Displaying kelkooproduct.php.
